PreWorn Aquascutum Used Clothing
John Emary, a British tailor and entrepreneur, started Aquascutum in 1851, when he opened a high quality menswear shop at 46 Regent Street.
Focusing on wool, Emary was the first to successfully waterproof the material, and the company name - Aquascutum - came from the Latin for 'watershield'.
With royal connections and contacts to King Edward VII and the Prince Of Wales, Aquascutum was granted a royal warrant in 1897, the beginning of the British Royal Family's long patronage of the company.
Today the brand is famous for its suiting range.
